With this motto The Savoy Dance Orchestra consider themselves the true heirs of the very first "Boygroups". We're talking about bands like Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, and, of course, Frank Sinatra's "Rat Pack"

The entire orchestra have been hand-picked not just for their excellent playing but also because they are great showmen. Our aim is to provide the same excitement that was conjured up at Benny Goodman's Carnegie Hall concerts, or in the Savoy Ballroom in New York.

But this isn't just a nostalgic show. There is a unique blend of timeless music, including rock and pop songs done in the swing style. (One good example of this is "Moondance" by Van Morrison, which has been a huge success with the audience and is now the first track on our new album "Sway with me" )

Experience Miegel's ecstatic solo in "Business in F". Then there's "Skip-da-lip" Reinhart singing the Blues and going crazy with his trumpet. Try staying in your seat when Tobi Schiller recreates a literally breathtaking version of "Sing, Sing Sing", accompanied by Bobby Howell's Gene Krupa - style drumming.
