ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating 2008/2009

Under the authorization of the 

INTERNATIONAL SKATING UNION

Organized by the International Skating Union and managed by China General Administration of Sports, Cup of China 2008 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating is one of the highest-level figure skating series events in the world, which will attract all top figure skaters from different countries. Integrating graceful dances with super difficult sports techniques, and, accompanied with beautiful music, the skaters will display their superb skills and strong artistic representation, a grand audio and visual feast to the audience.

With a silver medal at the Winter Olympic Games and a gold medal at the World Figure Skating Championship, the Chinese figure skating players are attracting more and more attention from around the world. ShenXue /Zhao HongBo、Zhang Dan / Zhang Hao and Pang Qing / Tong Jian have become top ranking figure skating players in the world. Facing challenges of different countries, they will use Cup of China as a frontline position to safeguard the national honours in figure skating and become a world focus.

The compulsory dance will be the Viennese Waltz.
