The concert is presented by China Broadcasting-Film Symphony Orchestra and Michelangeli Festival Festival Orchestra, with the participation of musicians of La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra.

La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra
La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra first performed on January 25 1982 under the baton of its founder, Claudio Abbado. In the first season, the Orchestra performed with many great conductors alongside Abbado including Georges Pr¨ºtre, Lorin Maazel, Wolfgang Sawallisch and Carlo Maria Giulini, who directed the orchestra on its first foreign tours.
Many world-renowned conductors have contributed to the activity of the Orchestra, among them Leonard Bernstein, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Valery Gergiev, Myung-Whun Chung, Zubin Mehta, Seiji Ozawa, Gennadij Rozdestvenskij, Yuri Temirkanov, Riccardo Chailly, Semyon Bychkov, Franz Welser-M?st, Peter E?tv?s and James Conlon.
The Orchestra is dedicated to performing contemporary works and each year commissions a new piece of music by a major international composer. Recordings of particular significance include Beethoven's Symphonies with Carlo Maria Giulini, Rossini's Cantate with Riccardo Chailly and the entire Symphonic works of Beethoven conducted by Riccardo Muti at La Scala in 1998.
China Film Symphony Orchestra
China Film Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1949. It is one of the earliest national level musical organizations with a history of fifty-four years.
In the past fifty-four years, it has been taking an active participation in the world of music in China and has given numerous concerts introducing various best pieces. The orchestra has recorded music for more than 2000 feature films, TV plays and documentaries. Besides, it has produced a great number of records, tapes and CDs. The Orchestra has successfully cooperated with the famous musicians all over the world and has been admired by music critics and audiences.
Conductor: Pier Carlo Orizio
Been born in Brescia, Pier Carl Orizio achieves the diploma of pianoforte under the guide of Sergio Marengoni, undertaking successively the studies of direction of orchestra with Donated Renzetti. Al contempo, follows the held course of improvement from Tchakarov (Venice 1988) and Leonard Bernstein (Rome 1989).
He has been director host in numerous occasions near the Society of the Concerts of Milan and collaborates regularly with soloists of international reputation: Martha Argerich, Boris Berezovsky, Francois-Joel Thiollier, Sergej Krylov, Paul Badura-Skoda and Alexander Madzar.

Mario Malagnini was born in Sal¨° on Lake Garda, and from an early age he studied music at the Brescia Conservatorio passing his exams in trombone with a distinction, and was awarded with a diploma.
Having finished his instrumental studies, in 1980 he began to attend as a tenor a singing course under the guidance of Pier Miranda Ferraro at the Verdi Conservatorio in Milan where he received a diploma gaining top marks in 1984. He began a brilliant career in Italy and abroad and made his debut in 1984 in Milan playing a part in II Corsaro by Giuseppe Verdi.
Sopran Silvia Dalla Benetta
Winner of numerous competitions she began her career singing Fiorilla in Rossini's II Turco in Italia in Siena, Italy and has since interpreted more than 30 leading roles in Italian opera houses.
At the Teatro Metastasio in Prato, with the Camerata Strumentale citt¨¤ di Prato, she has sung arias from Puccini's operas with an enormous success. In concert with Padova Chamber Orchestra conducted by Sergio Balestracci she has sung Vivaldi's Gloria and Bach's Magnificat.

She performed for well-known Italian and foreign Associations and a soloist with famous orchestras, such as: Prague Symphonic Orchestra, Moldova National Orchestra, I Solisti Veneti, Mexican State Symphonic Orchestra, Deutsche Kammerorchester, Auvergne Chamber Orchestra, Montpellier Philharmonic Orchestra, Berliner Symphoniker, Moskow Symphonic, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, I Pomeriggi Musicali, Orchestra of Santa Cecilia, Zagreb Philharmoniker, Orchestre Nationale de France, Mozarteum Orchestra, Orchestra del Maggio Musicale, NWD Philharmonic Herford, Kiev Philharmonic Orchestra, SWD Orchestra of Konstanz.
Concertmaster: Wu Zhengming
Wu Zhengming started his career from the attending China Film Symphony Orchestra at the age of sixteen and subsequently studied with Pro. Liu Yuxi and Pro. Sui Keqiang. He is also the concertmaster of China Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra and has been invited to perform in Germany, Italy, Austria, France, Spain, and Switzerland in more than 20 years.
