Conductor: Jiang Jinyi
Shaanxi Symphony Orchestra was established in 1957, and has exhilarated its audience with many wonderful concert performances, working with some of Chinese renowned musicians, including Li Delun, Yan Liangkun, Liao Changyong, Liu Shikun, Xu Zhong, and Li Chuanyun. The Orchestra is committed to promoting indigenous music and won acclaim nation wide.
Jiang Jinyi
Permanent conductor of China Opera, Jiang Jinyi is currently professor at Central Conservatory of Music, being active in giving concerts in China. In 2000, he took up the post of guest professor in Xi'an Conservatory of Music and was also the director of Xi'an International Music Festival. Jiang Jinyi was invited to make a visit to The Juilliard School and University of Southern California from 2005 to 2008. His tours are not only across the country, but also draw people's attention around world including Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Seoul, Hong Kong, Paris, Lyon, Brussels, Cologne, Frankfurt, Vienna, Salzburg, Italy and the U.S. ( Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, etc.).
