The China Open, Asia's premier tennis tournament, will feature a festival-like atmosphere offering the thousands of tennis fans not only the opportunity to watch the World's best tennis players live, but also to enjoy a truly fun-filled experience.
　　 "We’ve already confirmed that the China Open venue will offer to the fans great entertainment and activities including an opportunity to learn the sport with multiple tennis clinics taking place, a variety of fun games for kids and adults, an Autograph Island where fans will have a chance to ask questions and secure an autograph from their favorite Star Players, a large China Open Merchandising Store, lots of good food and drinks and large Video Walls and Result Boards which will keep the fans informed of the action taking place at the multiple China Open courts,” said China Open Tournament Director Lincoln Venancio.
　　 The China Open will be played at the Beijing Tennis Center which will feature more than twelve tennis courts in total and a 10,000-seat Center Court. The entire venue is being developed according to the China Open plan of offering fans plenty of space and activities. "We are very confident that the China Open will produce two weeks of great fun to the people of Beijing and China. This is an opportunity for the Chinese people to experience a truly World-class event atmosphere. Without question, it will be very exciting.

　　 China Open will be held for the first time on September 10-26 at the 2008 Olympic City. Under the leadership of Co-Chairmen National Minister of Sport Yuen Wei Min and Beijing Mayor Wang Qi Shan, the Open has as its core objective to become one of the World's most important tennis tournaments and the most significant annual sports event in Asia. The Event will feature more than ten competitions including Men's Open and Women's Open, is fully supported by ATP and has an expected attendance of over 600,000 fans.
